Rohit Sharma took a break from cricket to be present for the birth of his second child. Before the series began, he had stated that he might miss the first or second Test due to the arrival of his baby.

Now, following the birth of his son, it is expected that Rohit will travel to Australia in a few days to rejoin the team.

Mohammad Shami can play another Test against Australia.

Fast bowler Mohammed Shami was not included in the 18-member squad that traveled to Australia for the Test series, as he had not proven his fitness at the time of the team’s announcement.

However, Shami played a Ranji Trophy match against Madhya Pradesh starting on November 13, where he took 5 wickets across both innings. With his improved fitness, there is a possibility that Shami might also join the team in Australia.
