Indian businessmen are leading in employment creation compared to immigrants from other countries in the U.S. This year, Indian entrepreneurs are expected to provide jobs to approximately 1.5 million people.
Over the past five years, people of Indian origin have created 5 million jobs. According to reports from the Asian American Institute, IndiaSpora, and the University of Philadelphia, Indian entrepreneurs are creating jobs in all 50 states of the U.S.
According to MR Rangaswami, President of IndiaSpora, the Indian population in the U.S., which stands at around 350 million, is approximately 5 million. Indians pay an average annual tax of 2.5 trillion dollars.
Over the past 10 years, Indians have surpassed other immigrants in terms of job creation. Previously, businessmen from Canada and Europe led in job creation. Investments by Indian businessmen in Silicon Valley companies have contributed to this increase in employment, and this trend continues to persist.

According to reports, Indian entrepreneurs in the U.S. will create the highest number of jobs in the AI sector this year, with an estimated 1 million positions. Indian companies dominate the American Fortune AI list with 16 leading firms.
Over the past five years, Indian entrepreneurs have created 5 million jobs, with 2.7 million in the IT sector alone. The use of AI in life sciences, telecommunications, energy, and the automobile industry has contributed to this increase in employment.
156 Unicorn Startups in the U.S. Are Indian-Owned
Out of the 610 unicorn startups in the U.S., 156 are owned by Indians. These companies have provided employment to approximately 250,000 people in the U.S.
Among these, Cambridge Mobile Telematics has shown the highest growth, leading to significant advancements in road safety in the country.
