Deadly Attack on 10 RSS Members in Jaipur: Stabbing Incident During Temple Event, Angry Locals Block Delhi-Ajmer Highway
During a religious event at a temple in Jaipur, ten individuals associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were attacked with a knife on Thursday night. The injured have been admitted to SMS Hospital. Enraged by the incident, a crowd blocked the Delhi-Ajmer Highway, which was eventually cleared by the police at around 1:30 AM after negotiations.
According to Karni Vihar police, a temple in the area was hosting a special event in celebration of Sharad Purnima at 9 PM. After the event, ‘kheer’ was being distributed as part of the offering. During this time, two local residents objected to the program. Following an argument, they called their associates and attacked the people with a knife.
Accusations of Conspiracy to Disturb Peace
Participants stated that their peaceful program was ongoing when the atmosphere was deliberately disrupted, leading to the stabbings. An additional police force was deployed to the site that night. The attackers, Nasib Chaudhary and his son, have been taken into custody by the police. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to locate other assailants.
Attackers Stab Victims in Abdomen and Chest
The assailants attacked individuals with knives, inflicting wounds to their abdomens and chests. The injured include Shankar Bagara, Murarilal, Ram Parik, Lakhan Singh Jadaun, Pushpendra, Dinesh Sharma, and others who are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
In response to the incident, locals also surrounded the police station demanding the arrest of the attackers. According to the police, the situation at the scene is calm on Friday morning, and an investigation into the matter is underway.
