A video of the incident has surfaced. During the celebration of the Nercha festival in Malappuram, a crowd had gathered. Five decorated elephants were lined up for the event. Amidst this, one elephant named Pakkoth Shri Kutthan suddenly became enraged after seeing the crowd and charged forward. It grabbed a person with its trunk and flung him into the air. The scene caused panic among the people present.
