Indian Airstrikes Kill Over 90 Terrorists in Pakistan; Pakistani Army Confirms 24 Missile Attacks

In a rare admission, Pakistani military spokesperson and Director General of ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has confirmed that India carried out 24 missile attacks targeting terror camps inside Pakistan. Addressing a press conference at 4:08 AM on Wednesday, he stated, “India conducted a total of 24 attacks using various weapons, resulting in the death of 8 terrorists.” He specifically mentioned that four of these strikes took place near Subhan Mosque in Ahmadpur East, Bahawalpur.

The Subhan Allah Mosque in Bahawalpur is known as a stronghold of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and its founder, Maulana Masood Azhar. Jaish has been responsible for numerous terrorist attacks in India, including the infamous Pulwama attack.

Over 90 Terrorists Eliminated Under Operation Sindoor

According to preliminary reports, India launched an extensive airstrike under Operation Sindoor, leading to the elimination of more than 90 terrorists. Among them, 30 were reportedly killed in Muridke alone, while several dozen others were neutralized in various terrorist camps across the region. The Indian Air Force is said to have targeted nearly nine key terrorist hideouts.

Lashkar and Hizbul Camps Also Destroyed

In addition to targeting Jaish-e-Mohammed facilities, the Indian Air Force also destroyed key operational bases of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen. In total, nine terror camps were targeted in both Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

The airstrikes reportedly hit:

  • Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur
  • Sarjal in Tehra Kalan
  • Markaz Abbas in Kotli
  • Syedna Bilal Camp in Muzaffarabad – all known JeM locations.

Lashkar camps destroyed include:

  • Markaz Tayyaba in Muridke
  • Markaz Ahle Hadees in Barnala
  • Shawai Nala Camp in Muzaffarabad.

Hizbul Mujahideen training centers targeted were:

  • Makka Rahil Shahid in Kotli
  • Mahmuna Zoya Camp in Sialkot.

These strikes mark a significant escalation in India’s response to cross-border terrorism and are being viewed as a major strategic success in counter-terror operations.
