Rajkot witnessed a massive fire at a namkeen manufacturing company near Nakrawadi on Monday morning. The blaze erupted at KBZ Food Limited, a wafer and namkeen production unit, around 9:30 AM, causing widespread panic in the area. Thick black smoke billowed into the sky, visible up to 5 kilometers away.

Upon receiving the distress call at 9:25 AM, the fire department dispatched an initial team. However, due to the intensity of the fire, additional reinforcements were called in, bringing the total to five fire tenders. Despite continuous firefighting efforts for over an hour, the fire remains uncontrollable.

Chief Fire Officer Ashok Singh Zala confirmed that multiple teams are engaged in dousing the flames. Additionally, Wankaner Mamlatdar and other officials have arrived at the site to assess the situation.
