Student Ends Life by Slashing Wrists and Throat: Body Found in LD Eng. College Room
A 20-year-old student residing in the hostel of L.D. Engineering College was found dead in an abandoned room of the college. The deceased had blade marks on his neck and hands. Preliminary investigation suggests suicide, based on which the police have started an inquiry. The Gujarat University police have begun investigating the incident.
Student’s Body Found in a Pool of Blood
Urvin, a student studying in the fourth semester of Chemical Engineering at L.D. Engineering College, was found dead in room number 435 on the third floor of the hostel. The deceased had blade marks on his hands and neck. The room from which the body was found was in a dilapidated condition. A friend of the deceased came to the room in the morning and suspected something was wrong when he found the room locked. Upon checking inside, he found the student lying in a pool of blood, leading to police being informed. Gujarat University police arrived at the scene and began their investigation.
Student Took Step Due to Fear of Future
Preliminary police investigation revealed that the deceased had inflicted blade wounds on himself and committed suicide. The deceased had an exam on July 1st and was caught with a mobile phone during it. It is believed that fear of the future led him to take this step. The deceased student was a resident of Gokulvas in Mandvi. The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
DCP: Panel PM Will Be Conducted
Zone 1 DCP Himanshu Verma stated that there were injury marks on both hands and the neck of the deceased. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Preliminary investigation indicates suicide. Currently, an accidental death report will be filed, and further investigation will proceed based on the PM and FSL reports. The deceased’s friends and family members will be questioned.
Student Ended Life in Vadodara Four Days Ago
Four days ago, a student committed suicide in the PG hostel of Sayaji Hospital in Vadodara, causing a stir. The police immediately reached the scene and sent the student’s body for post-mortem. The reason behind the student’s suicide remains unknown. According to initial police information, the student was from Chennai and named Dr. Sahay Zareen, aged 28. He was an MD student in Anesthesiology.
