Terrorist Attack on Bus in Pakistan’s Balochistan: 4 Dead, 32+ Injured; BLA Claims Responsibility
On Saturday, terrorists from the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) carried out a blast in a bus in Turbat, a city in Pakistan’s western province of Balochistan. The attack claimed 4 lives and injured 32 others. Among the injured, 5 are in critical condition.
Senior Police Officer and Family Injured
A senior police officer of SSP rank and his family were also injured in the attack. Police suspect that the insurgents targeted the SSP deliberately. The injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
BLA Claims Responsibility for the Attack
After the attack, a spokesperson for the BLA released a video claiming responsibility. Last month, a similar bomb explosion in the area killed two people.
Clash Between Two Groups in Peshawar Leaves 5 Dead
On Saturday, a clash between two groups in the Tehkal area of Peshawar, Pakistan, resulted in the deaths of 5 people. Six others were injured in the incident. According to police, the conflict stemmed from a longstanding feud. Heavy police deployment has been arranged at the site, and a search is underway for the suspects.
Property Dispute Behind the Clash
The clash occurred when one group was returning from a wedding ceremony and encountered members of the rival group. Police reports indicate that both parties had an ongoing dispute related to property and an old murder case. Investigations are currently underway, but no arrests have been made yet.

On December 21, terrorists attacked an army checkpoint in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing 16 Pakistani soldiers. The attack took place in Makin, 40 km from the Afghan border.
TTP Claims Responsibility for the Attack
According to news agency AFP, quoting a military officer, more than 30 terrorists attacked the army post for nearly two hours. During this time, the attackers set fire to wireless equipment and documents present at the post before fleeing the scene. The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
