Tragic Road Accident Near Lathi Claims Three Lives from the Same Family
Amreli: A devastating accident occurred late last night near Lathi, between Havatad and Ingorala villages, as a bike and a chhakda (a three-wheeler) collided. The crash resulted in the deaths of three members of the same family, while one person sustained injuries. The deceased include two men and a young girl. Their bodies have been shifted to the Damanagar Civil Hospital, and police have registered a case, initiating further investigation.
Victims Identified
According to reports, the accident took place when a chhakda and a bike crashed into each other with great impact. The victims, members of the Devi Pujak community from Khara village near Liliya, were traveling towards Damanagar on a bike. The deceased have been identified as:
- Jagdishbhai Mohanbhai Vaghela (25)
- Dineshbhai Manubhai Vaghela (33)
- Rajal (2), daughter of Dineshbhai
The fatal collision resulted in the instant deaths of all three, while the rickshaw driver sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Police Investigation Underway
Upon receiving information about the accident, police reached the spot and took necessary action, including sending the bodies for post-mortem. Meanwhile, the injured driver is undergoing treatment. Authorities have registered a case and are conducting further investigations into the incident.
