TVS Ronin Special Edition: A Modern-Retro Marvel at ₹1.73 Lakh with 226cc Power
On October 27, the Indian two-wheeler company TVS launched the special edition of its modern-retro motorcycle, Ronin. The new Ronin special edition is priced at INR 1,72,700 ex-showroom and features cosmetic upgrades over the standard variant.
The special edition model shares its specs and features with TVS Ronin’s top-spec variant. In the new edition, there’s a fresh triple-tone graphic scheme that includes a primary shade of grey, a secondary shade of white, and a third tone of red.
The ‘R’ logo pattern is included on the motorcycle. The wheel rims come with ‘TVS Ronin’ branding, while the lower half of the bike is entirely black, and the headlamp bezels incorporate a black theme as well.
The TVS Ronin comes with a 225.9cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that generates 20.2 bhp of power at 7750rpm and 19.93 Nm of peak torque at 3750rpm. It is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox. TVS claims that this bike will have a top speed of 120 kmph.
In terms of hardware specs, the bike features upside-down front forks and a 7-step preload-adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear for comfortable riding. It comes with a 300 mm front disc and a 240 mm rotor at the rear for braking. The TVS Ronin is expected to compete with the Honda CB300R in the Indian market.
As for special features, the Ronin special edition bike is equipped with full-LED lighting and is said to be TVS SmartXonnect-enabled.
