Two Killed, Six Injured After Bus Collides with Eeco on Kheralu Highway
A tragic accident occurred on the Satlasana-Kheralu Highway in Gujarat’s Mehsana district involving a state transport bus and an Eeco van. The collision took place near the Sambhavnath temple and resulted in the death of two individuals on the spot, while six others sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Rajpipla-Bound Bus Collides With Eeco Van
According to reports, the accident happened near the old Taranga railway station early in the morning. A bus traveling from Ambaji to Rajpipla collided head-on with an Eeco van coming from Baroda.
Locals Rushed to Rescue the Injured
Local residents and nearby highway commuters quickly gathered at the site and pulled the injured out of the mangled Eeco van. Emergency services were alerted, and 108 ambulances arrived shortly after to provide assistance.

Highway Under Construction – Poor Road Conditions to Blame?
The highway between Kheralu and Satlasana is currently under construction and progressing at a slow pace. Deep pits and broken roads due to ongoing service lane work are contributing to frequent accidents in the area.
Another Fatal Crash in Jhagadia: Bus on Wrong Side Kills Two
A separate serious road accident occurred near Waghpura village in Jhagadia taluka, Bharuch district. A Rajpipla depot ST bus, allegedly traveling on the wrong side due to a damaged road, crashed head-on into an Eeco car. Two people died on the spot, and seven others were injured. The local police have initiated an investigation, and the bodies were sent for post-mortem.

Bike Rider Killed in Amod After Being Hit by Bus
Yet another accident took place on National Highway 64 near Nahiyer village in Amod taluka. A bike rider died on the spot after an ST bus traveling from Jambusar to Surat hit the bike near a sharp curve. The rider suffered fatal head injuries. The road’s sudden turning point is considered hazardous and may have contributed to the crash.
Tractor Accident in Devgadh Baria Leaves One Dead
In Dahod district’s Devgadh Baria taluka, a tractor overturned in Khandaniya village, resulting in one death. The tractor driver sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital. The deceased, identified as Himat Balsingh Baria, was returning from paddy planting work with another villager when the driver lost control. The tractor overturned on the field’s edge, trapping Himat underneath and causing severe injuries that led to his death on the spot.
