Australian Masters Team Arrives in Vadodara for IML 2025
Vadodara, February 26, 2025 – The Australian Masters team has arrived in Vadodara ahead of the much-anticipated International Masters League (IML), which is set to begin on February 28 at the Kotambi International Cricket Stadium. The team’s captain, Shane Watson, along with veteran cricketer Shaun Marsh and other players, received a grand welcome at Vadodara Airport. Some players were accompanied by their families.
Following their arrival, the team was transported by bus to their accommodation at the Taj Vivanta Hotel, where they will stay during the tournament. A ceremonial reception with a shower of flowers was held to greet the team.

Indian Masters Team to Arrive Tomorrow
On Wednesday, the Indian Masters team, including cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, will also reach Vadodara. They will be staying at the same hotel as the Australian team.

IML Matches at Kotambi Stadium
The IML, which began in Mumbai on February 22, will shift to Vadodara from February 28. Six matches will be played at the Kotambi Stadium between legendary teams from India, Australia, Sri Lanka, England, South Africa, and the West Indies. The tournament will feature cricket icons such as Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, Kumar Sangakkara, Brian Lara, Eoin Morgan, Jacques Kallis, Kevin Pietersen, Jonty Rhodes, Chris Gayle, and Shane Watson.
The tournament’s governing council includes legendary figures like Sunil Gavaskar, Shaun Pollock, and Sir Vivian Richards. Former international umpires Simon Taufel and Billy Bowden will officiate the matches, while Gundappa Viswanath will serve as the match referee.
