Audi Q7 Facelift Launched in India: Luxury SUV with Panoramic Sunroof and ADAS Features, Competing with Volvo XC90

Audi India launched the facelifted model of its luxury SUV Q7 in India today (November 28). This is the second facelift version of the vehicle. The company has updated both the exterior and interior of the new Q7. 

Notable features include a panoramic sunroof, 4-zone automatic climate control, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). However, it retains the current model’s 3-liter V6 turbo petrol engine.

The first model of Audi Q7 was launched in 2015.

Audi Q7 Facelift Pricing and Variants in India

The base price of the Audi Q7 facelift in India starts at ₹88.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has launched the Q7 facelift in two variants:

  • Premium Plus TFSI: Priced at ₹88.66 lakh
  • High-Spec Technology TFSI: Priced at ₹97.81 lakh

Booking Details

Audi has already started accepting bookings for the Q7. Customers can book the SUV through the Audi India website or the ‘MyAudi Connect’ app by paying a token amount of ₹2 lakh.

Competition

The Audi Q7 facelift competes with luxury SUVs such as the Mercedes-Benz GLE, Volvo XC90, and BMW X5.

Audi Q7 Facelift Performance: 0-100 kmph in 5.6 Seconds

The Q7 facelift retains its previous mechanical setup, featuring a 3.0-liter V6 TFSI petrol engine. This engine delivers 340 hp of power and a peak torque of 500 Nm. It is paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system for enhanced efficiency.

Transmission and Drive System

The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and comes with Audi’s signature Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

Acceleration and Top Speed

Audi claims the Q7 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.6 seconds, with a top speed of 250 kmph.

Exterior Design: Launched with 5 Color Options

The updated Audi Q7 features a refreshed front profile. It includes an octagonal grille with chrome-finished vertical slats. The SUV also boasts HD Matrix LED headlights, new LED daytime running lamps (DRLs) with a digital signature, and a redesigned bumper with fresh air intakes.

Side and Rear Design

  • Wheels: The base model comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, while higher variants offer options ranging from 20 to 22 inches.
  • Rear Profile: The rear features newly designed taillights with LED inner lighting.

The SUV is available in five color options:

  1. Gold
  2. Waitomo Blue
  3. Mythos Black
  4. Samurai Gray
  5. Glacier White

Interior and Features: 10.1-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System

The cabin of the Audi Q7 has received subtle updates. Inside, the seats are upholstered in two color-themed options: Cedar Brown and Sayga Beige. The SUV also features electronically adjustable front seats and a powered tailgate.

Screen and Infotainment Setup

The Q7 continues with its signature tri-screen setup, which includes:

  • A 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • A 12.3-inch digital driver display
  • A display below the infotainment system for climate control settings

Infotainment Upgrades

The updated infotainment system now supports third-party applications like Spotify and Amazon Music, offering enhanced connectivity and entertainment options.
