23-Year-Old Commits Suicide: “I Begged, But He Didn’t Listen,” Writes Note Before Jumping into River
A young man from Dindoli jumped into the Tapi River from a cable-stayed bridge. The police found a bike and a suicide note on the bridge, after which they informed the fire brigade to search the Tapi River. However, there was no trace of the young man even the next day. The suicide note mentioned in the diary blames a finance company for his actions. Kunjan Jashvant Rathod, a 23-year-old resident of Suncity Society in Dindoli, worked as a food delivery person for Swiggy. He was the only brother to his three sisters. On Friday evening, Kunjan jumped into the Tapi River from the cable-stayed bridge. His family informed the fire brigade when his bike was found on the bridge. Fire officer Sampat Suthar and his team searched the river but found no trace of Kunjan. The search continued on Saturday but was unsuccessful. Along with the bike, a diary containing a suicide note was found on the bridge, in which he mentioned a finance company as the reason for his suicide.
“Mom, Dad, My Three Sisters, and My Love, Please Forgive Me. Love You Mom, Love You Dad, Love You Sisters”
In the suicide note written in the diary, Kunjan wrote, “Mom, Dad, my three sisters, and my love, please forgive me. Some money will come into my account on Tuesday, please give it to my friend Pankaj. Love you Mom, love you Dad, love you my three sisters, and love you my love. I had asked for time until Tuesday, and my job payment would have come, and I would have paid it. The reason for my suicide is L&T Finance. Only one of my EMIs bounced, and they did not give me time. Instead of taking action after three EMI bounces, they are doing it after just one. I pleaded with the L&T people, but they did not listen to me.
