Father and Two Children Die After Jumping From 8th Floor to Escape Fire in Delhi’s Dwarka

A devastating fire broke out in a residential building in Delhi’s Dwarka Sector 13 on the morning of June 10. In a desperate attempt to escape the blaze, a father and his two children jumped from the eighth floor. All three later succumbed to their injuries during treatment.

10 Fire Engines Rushed to the Scene

The Delhi Fire Department received an emergency call at around 10 AM and immediately dispatched 10 fire tenders to the spot. Rescue operations were launched to evacuate residents trapped inside the building.

Father and Children Jump From Balcony

Caught on the eighth floor with no route of escape, the brother and sister jumped from the balcony. Seeing his children leap, the father, identified as Yash Yadav, followed suit. All three were critically injured and rushed to IGI Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.

Yash Yadav’s wife and elder son were rescued by fire personnel and are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital due to injuries.

Cause of Fire Still Unknown

The exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined. Authorities are investigating the incident to ascertain the source of the blaze.
