Groom Fires Air Gun During Wedding Celebration, Video Goes Viral
In the Bhudarpura area of Ahmedabad, while heading to a wedding, Varraja fired gunshots in excitement while riding an elephant. The video of this incident went viral, and local police immediately reached the wedding venue. An investigation was initiated into the matter. Currently, the police are taking action based on the report filed regarding this incident.
During a wedding procession near Ambawadi Bhudarpura, guests and a DJ were heading towards Sant Kabir Flats. Meanwhile, Varraja, riding an elephant, arrived from the other side for the wedding procession. At that moment, firing rounds from a long barrel gun-like weapon occurred in the air. Although no one was injured, the presence of a weapon resembling a long barrel gun alarmed a vigilant citizen, who recorded the entire incident and shared it on social media, where it quickly went viral.
As the video went viral, the police were alerted, and based on the video evidence, they initiated an investigation and reached the wedding venue. No complaint had been lodged with the police prior to the wedding ceremony. After the completion of the wedding rituals, the police questioned Varraja. During the interrogation, it was revealed that the person holding the long-barrel-like weapon in the video was named Pradeep Vaghela. It was confirmed in the video that the weapon was an airgun and firing had indeed taken place. Consequently, Elisbridge police recorded Varraja’s statement and proceeded with further investigation.
