India Slams Pakistan at UN: Calls It a “Failed State” Surviving on Foreign Aid

In a strong rebuttal at the United Nations, India lashed out at Pakistan, calling it a “failed state” that survives on foreign aid and has no right to lecture others. India stated that Pakistan’s speech at the UN was filled with hypocrisy and accused it of consistently spreading falsehoods.

During the 58th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva, Kshitij Tyagi, an official from India’s Permanent Mission to the UN, dismissed Pakistan’s repeated allegations of human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir.

India Accuses Pakistan of Spreading Lies

Kshitij Tyagi stated that Pakistan is known for propagating lies, often echoing narratives spread by terrorists. He also criticized Pakistan for misusing the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), calling it a mouthpiece for Islamabad’s baseless claims. Tyagi lamented that a failed state like Pakistan is wasting the time of an important international organization.

“Pakistan Should Look at Its Own Condition” – India

Responding to Pakistan’s accusations regarding Jammu and Kashmir, India firmly stated that Jammu and Kashmir, along with Ladakh, is and will always remain an integral part of India. Instead of making baseless claims, Pakistan should focus on improving its own deteriorating situation.

Tyagi further remarked that Pakistan’s words reek of hypocrisy, its actions are inhumane, and its governance is weak. In contrast, India remains focused on democracy, progress, and ensuring dignity for its people.

Pakistan Alleges Human Rights Violations in India

Earlier, during the UNHRC session, Pakistan’s Minister of Law, Justice, and Human Rights, Azam Nazeer Tarar, accused India of human rights violations in Kashmir. He claimed that the rights of Kashmiri people were being constantly violated, which he said was a breach of the UN Charter and international laws.

India’s strong response at the UN underscores its firm stance against Pakistan’s repeated attempts to spread misinformation on the global stage.
