Two Youths Stab Woman 8 Times in Her House: Abused Her on the Road, Followed Her, and Attacked in Front of Daughter in Una’s Kob

In a distressing incident in Kob village of Una taluka, Gir Somnath district, two men under the influence of alcohol barged into a woman’s house and stabbed her eight times with a knife. The woman and her daughter were returning home from Diu when the accused allegedly used abusive language, leading to an argument on the road.

Enraged by the confrontation, the two accused followed the woman to her home. In front of her daughter, they assaulted the woman. One of the men pulled out a knife and inflicted multiple stab wounds on her. The attack left the woman severely injured and bleeding. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment via 108 emergency services.

The daughter, witnessing the brutal attack on her mother, screamed for help, creating a commotion in the area.

One of the accused held the woman down while the other accused stabbed her.

Youth on Bike Hurl Abusive Words at Woman in Una’s Nawabandar Area

Law and order appear to be deteriorating in the Nawabandar Marine Police Station jurisdiction of Una. Lasuben Rameshbhai Bambhaniya and her daughter were returning home to Kob village from Dagachi village in Diu when the incident occurred.

Two individuals, Hardik Bariya and Akshay Bambhaniya, both residents of Kob village, passed by on their bike. During an altercation with Lasuben, the two became enraged and directed abusive language toward her, escalating the situation.

The woman came out of the house covered in blood and collapsed.

Drunken Attack: Men Break into Woman’s House and Stab Her Multiple Times

After consuming alcohol in Diu, the two accused returned and barged into Lasuben’s house, where she and her daughter were alone. Without warning, they began scuffling with her. One of the men restrained Lasuben while the other pulled a knife from his waistband and brutally stabbed her eight times on her back, face, and head.

Hearing the commotion, Lasuben’s daughter screamed for help, attracting neighbors to the scene. Sensing trouble, the attackers fled the spot. Severely injured and bleeding, Lasuben managed to step out of her house before collapsing.

The entire horrifying incident was recorded by her daughter on her mobile phone, which may serve as crucial evidence in the investigation.

Daughter’s Screams Alert Neighbors, Victim Rushed to Hospital

Hearing the daughter’s desperate screams, neighbors rushed to the scene and immediately informed 108 emergency services. The severely injured woman was transported to a private hospital in Una for urgent medical care.

Upon learning about the incident, the Nawabandar Marine Police arrived at the hospital, recorded the victim’s complaint, and began an investigation into the matter.

Daughter Witnesses Entire Attack Unfold

According to the victim’s daughter, the horrifying incident took place on December 29 around 4 PM. Lasuben Rameshbhai Bambhaniya and her daughter were returning home from Diu when two individuals from Kob village started following them, hurling abusive words along the way.

Upon reaching home, the two youths forcefully entered their house armed with an open knife. Without hesitation, they attacked Lasuben, restraining her and delivering multiple indiscriminate stabs, leaving the family in shock and terror.

Police Inaction Led to Escalation of Attacks

The victim’s daughter revealed that there had been a long-standing dispute with the two accused. Previously, they had assaulted her mother using iron rods, causing injuries. Despite filing a complaint with the police at the time, no decisive action was taken.

The lack of intervention emboldened the accused, who continued to harass and threaten the family. This ultimately culminated in the brutal knife attack, with the intoxicated youths barging into their home and committing the heinous crime.
