Boney Kapoor revealed that this decision has led to tension with his brother Anil, who is not only upset but also not engaging in discussions about it. He mentioned that for the sequel of ‘No Entry’, Anil was not cast because there was no suitable role for him according to the storyline.

Film to be Released Next Year

The shooting for this film can commence as early as December of this year. To mark the 20th anniversary of ‘No Entry’, the film is set to hit theaters in 2025. Sources suggest that Diljit, Arjun, and Varun will be seen in double roles in this movie.

Boney Kapoor has revealed the reason behind casting these actors. In a recent interview, he mentioned that he chose to cast Diljit, Arjun, and Varun because they share a great camaraderie. 

According to him, their fantastic chemistry will translate well onto the screen. At the same time, he acknowledged Diljit’s growing fan following, indicating that all three will create a stir on the big screen. Boney emphasized that he considered these factors carefully while making the casting decisions.

Currently, producer Boney Kapoor is deeply engrossed in the production of the upcoming film “Maidaan”. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, “Maidaan” is a biographical sports drama portraying the life of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. 

Syed Abdul Rahim devoted his entire life to football and achieved numerous milestones for India in the sport. The film features Ajay Devgn essaying the role of the legendary coach.

Alongside Ajay Devgn, Priyamani and Gajraj Rao are also in lead roles in the movie. Scheduled for release on April 10, 2024, “Maidaan” promises to be an inspiring cinematic journey, highlighting the unparalleled contribution of Syed Abdul Rahim to Indian football.
