Salman Khan’s House Shooting: Another Arrest from Haryana; Suspected Link to Lawrence’s Brother; Intimidation, Not Murder

The Mumbai Crime Branch is actively questioning the suspects involved in the firing case outside Salman Khan’s residence. Officials from the Crime Branch have revealed that both suspects did not intend to harm Salman but rather fired shots to intimidate the actor. 

According to police sources, both suspects received a total of Rs. 4 lakh for the job, with an initial payment of Rs. 1 lakh and the remaining Rs. 3 lakh upon completion of the task.

In the case of firing outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence, the police have apprehended another suspect from Haryana. According to police sources, this suspect had connections with Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, a gangster based in America. 

Moreover, it is suspected that this accused had contacts with both shooters involved in the firing at Salman Khan’s house.

Police are concerned that this suspect had provided information about the firing to both shooters. The incident of firing occurred on April 14 at Salman Khan’s residence. Subsequently, the police had arrested Sagar Pal and Vikas alias Vicky Gupta from Gujarat. 

During their interrogation, it was revealed that they had provided information about the firing to a suspect in Haryana.

Crime Branch Seeks Statements from Families of Bihar Suspects in the Case

In addition to the ongoing investigation, the Crime Branch has recorded statements from the families of both suspects from Bihar in this case. 

Furthermore, the Crime Branch has summoned and questioned approximately seven individuals from Haryana and other states in connection to the case.

Salman Expresses Displeasure Over Security Concerns

Sources reveal that Salman Khan has expressed dissatisfaction over his security arrangements, prompting the Mumbai Crime Branch team to also document his grievances in this case.

Previously, Salman had voiced his dissatisfaction and concerns to Mumbai police officials regarding the security of his family. Given the magnitude of security measures in place, such expressions of concern raise questions about the effectiveness of the arrangements, leading him to question the police on this matter as well.

Both the accused, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, have been sent to 10-day police remand by the Fort Court in Mumbai.

Bihar Residents Identified as Main Suspects in Salman Khan Firing Case

The primary suspects in this case have been identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, both residents of Bihar. They were allegedly involved in reconnaissance of Salman’s residence and farmhouse, where they conducted five rounds of firing. The weapon used in the shooting has not been recovered.

According to police sources, a few hours before the incident, shooter Sagar Pal was supplied with a gun from the Bandra area on the night of April 13. 

The Crime Branch is currently investigating who supplied the gun. Efforts are underway to trace the person to whom Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta had paid money. The role of the person detained from Haryana in the firing incident at Salman Khan’s house is also being investigated.

It is noteworthy that the firing incident occurred on Sunday morning, April 14, during which the shooters had concealed their faces, making it difficult for them to be identified in CCTV footage. They had removed their helmets and first caps, which resulted in their faces not being captured clearly in nearby CCTV footage.

Moreover, they had abandoned their motorcycle near Mount Mary Church. The Mumbai police received significant assistance in apprehending both suspects through Aadhaar card details.

Arrest Made in Bhuj, Gujarat

Both suspects have been released on a 10-day police remand by the Mumbai Fort Court. The Mumbai Crime Branch apprehended both suspects from Bhuj, Gujarat, late Monday night. They were brought to Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon.

In this case, the police have registered a case against Anmol, brother of gangster Lawrence. Anmol has taken responsibility for this incident in a Facebook post. Previously, the Lawrence gang has threatened Salman Khan on several occasions.

Incident: Shooting Outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartment

On the morning of April 14th, both suspects arrived on a motorcycle and fired five rounds outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. 

Salman was at home during the shooting incident. Following the incident, security around Salman’s residence was heightened.
