When discussing the design, many new elements are visible up close. The front end showcases sharp-looking headlamps with a projector setup, featuring inbuilt LED daytime running lamps. Between the two headlamps, a dark chrome finish with honeycomb pattern black grille has been redesigned.

The company logo is now placed above the grille and under the bonnet. The front bumper has also undergone several changes, with several alterations and a separate housing for the front fog lamps, giving a cleaner look than before. Except for 16-inch alloy wheels, there are no changes in the side profile. The rear taillights have been revamped; they are now smaller and sportier. A hybrid badging is provided on the tailgate.

The new Swift outgoing model is longer by 15mm, wider by 40mm, and taller by 30mm, but the wheelbase remains the same at 2,450mm for the outgoing model. The company is calling it the fourth generation model, as the new generation Swift is based on the Heartect platform.
