Income Tax Raid at 40 Locations in Ahmedabad, Including Swati Buildcon

The Income Tax Department has conducted a significant operation in Ahmedabad, targeting well-known builder Swati Buildcon and a major chemical group associated with Kanak Chemicals. This operation also involves the investigation of partners, including Ashok Agarwal and Saket Agarwal. The Income Tax Department is not only focusing on Swati Buildcon’s office on SG Highway near Makarba and its main office on Ambali Road but is also conducting investigations.

Raid on Builder After Eight Days

After eight days, the Income Tax Department has once again targeted a builder group. This time, the raid has extended to the builder lobby, creating a major stir in Surat and Rajkot. Mahesh Raj, associated with Swati Builder Group, and his connected Kanak Chemical Group, are being investigated by a team summoned from across the state by the Income Tax Department. This mega search operation has commenced today.

Search Operation at Raj Chemical Group’s Office

Swati Buildcon Group’s office, along with their residential locations, and Mahesh Raj Kanak Chemical Group’s office and bungalow have been searched by the Income Tax Department’s team, comprising more than 100 officers from Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Rajkot. The operation is being conducted in a manner so secretive that even the officers themselves were unaware of it. Officers from Rajkot and Vadodara were called to participate in the operation. The search operation has covered 35 to 40 locations in the entire city.

Officers Unaware of the Operation

According to sources, this operation was kept so confidential that even the officers themselves were unaware of it. A team of more than 100 officers from across the city conducted a search operation that created a stir throughout the city. Income Tax Department conducted a search operation at more than 35 locations belonging to three groups and caused a commotion in Diamond City. Three groups – Parth Group, Akshar Group, and Kantilal Jewelers – faced the Income Tax Department’s raid in Diamond City after the operation.
