Student Seemed Disturbed in Class Before the Incident
According to the school principal, Leena Arora, the student appeared emotionally disturbed from the morning and even screamed in class, prompting the teacher to calm her down. The student had returned to school after a long absence, for which her parents had submitted a medical certificate. Her father dropped her off at school that morning.

Psychologist’s Insight: Signs of Suppressed Anger and Depression
Senior psychologist Dr. Prashant Bhimani, after reviewing the CCTV footage, commented that the girl’s body language showed artificial confidence mixed with suppressed anger. He emphasized the possibility of her being in depression, where impulsive decisions can happen in moments. He warned that such behavior should be a red flag for parents.
“There’s visible artificial confidence and unresolved emotional tension. Children often mask deeper issues behind such behavior,” said Dr. Bhimani.
