Luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce has introduced its inaugural electric vehicle, the ‘Spectre,’ in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 7.5 crore ex-showroom, the ultra-luxurious electric super coupe received global acclaim since its unveiling at the Rolls-Royce home in West Sussex, England, in October last year.
Performance and Power of Rolls-Royce Spectre
The Rolls-Royce Spectre boasts a range of 530 km on a single charge, powered by a 102 kWh battery pack and a dual electric motor setup. Accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds, the Spectre distributes power to all four wheels, with the front axle receiving 254 bhp and the rear axle generating 482 bhp, resulting in a total of 576 bhp and a peak torque of 900 Nm.
Rapid Charging Capability of Spectre
Equipped with support for 22 kW AC and 50 kW to 195 kW DC chargers, the Spectre can charge up to 80% in a mere 34 minutes using a DC fast charger.
Design and Features of Rolls-Royce Spectre
The 4-seater electric coupe, featuring 2 doors and 23-inch wheels, bears a resemblance to the Rolls-Royce ‘Wraith.’ The Spectre’s distinctive features include a wide and illuminated front grille, starlight doors, and a curb weight of 2,975 kg, making it the heaviest Rolls-Royce model.
