Tata Motors Unveils Teaser for its Most Awaited Car – Altroz Racer
Tata Motors has released the first teaser of its most awaited car, the Altroz Racer. This is the sporty version of the regular Altroz, which was first showcased at Auto Expo 2023 and later revealed at India Mobility Global Expo this year.
The teaser reveals glimpses of the front half of the Altroz Racer. It features a new Orange-Black color scheme and an extended rear spoiler for a sporty feel. While its alloy wheel design remains unchanged, in the Altroz Racer, it will be given a black finish. Along with the regular Altroz model’s features, the Racer will come with more powerful engine options for sporty appeal, 6 airbags for safety, and many other enhanced features such as a 360-degree camera. It is expected to be launched in India in June 2024 and could be priced at ₹1 lakh more. Upon launch, the Altroz Racer will directly compete with the Hyundai i20 N-Line.
Tata Altroz Powertrain
The Altroz will be equipped with a 1.2L Revotron engine, which generates 73.5 PS of power at 6000 rpm and 103 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. Additionally, it will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
