Gujarat’s 3rd Vande Bharat Train: Jamnagar-Ahmedabad Route, PM to Inaugurate on 24th

Saurashtra’s first-ever Vande Bharat Train will be flagged off virtually by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, September 24. This Vande Bharat Train completed a trial run today from Sabarmati Railway Station in Ahmedabad to Viramgam and back, running at a speed of 110 to 120 kilometers per hour on the Saurashtra railway track. No issues or problems were observed during the trial.

Stops and Stations on the Route

The Vande Bharat Train from Jamnagar to Ahmedabad will stop at Rajkot, Wankaner, Surendranagar, Viramgam, and Sabarmati Railway Stations before reaching Ahmedabad Railway Station. The train will cover the distance between Jamnagar and Ahmedabad in just 5 hours. According to the tentative timetable, the train will depart from Jamnagar at 5:30 AM and arrive around 10:10 AM at Sabarmati and Ahmedabad Railway Stations. In the evening, a train will depart from Ahmedabad at 5 PM, reaching Jamnagar at 10:30 PM. A program will be organized at various railway stations to welcome and felicitate the train.

Program Details and Schedule

On September 24, after the virtual flag-off by the Prime Minister at 12:30 PM, the train will depart from Jamnagar to Ahmedabad. At each station on the route, BJP leaders and corporators will welcome the train. The Western Railway Division, Ahmedabad, has also organized a program at Sabarmati or Ahmedabad Railway Station to celebrate this momentous occasion.
