Exciting Update: ‘Munna Bhai 3’ Progress – Scripting & Filming in Full Swing, Film Guaranteed 100% Done; Promises Powerful Message!

The film “12th Fail,” by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, has reached a significant milestone by completing its silver jubilee in cinemas. Despite the challenging circumstances, the movie continued its successful run in theaters for several weeks. Chopra faced a situation where he had to summon audiences to theaters to prevent the film from being forcefully pulled out.

Theater owners asserted that there was no need to remove the film as it was still doing remarkably well at the box office. Chopra stated that achieving a silver jubilee in today’s times is a remarkable feat in itself. After the tremendous success of the film, Chopra engaged in a conversation with Source.

During the interview, Chopra also provided a major update on “Munna Bhai 3.” He mentioned that the script is in progress, and the film will be made 100% soon, indicating promising developments for the eagerly awaited sequel.

Question: What does ’12th Fail’ teach us?

Answer: Let me tell you an interesting story. During the pandemic, I called PVR cinemas after 18 weeks. I asked them, “Why are you still running films forcefully when people aren’t interested?” Their response was, “We are not running them forcefully. People are coming to watch the movies, so we are running them.”

I found joy and surprise upon hearing this. Nowadays, no film can achieve its silver jubilee. You may also notice that films are running for only a few weeks on OTT platforms.

12th Fail

This film sparked a lot of discussion among common people. Even people from small towns were influenced. What’s your opinion on this matter?

Answer: One day, someone sent me a video. In that video, a person was discussing the issue of ’12th Fail’. Even patients and hospital ward boys were discussing the film. Watching and listening to all this brought me great joy.

The phrase ‘Never give up’ not only inspires ordinary people but also celebrities. I saw this line written in an actor’s bio. What do you think about this?

Answer: Thanks to God’s grace and blessings, the film has reached here. I never thought this film would run for so long. Currently, I am working on a film titled ‘Restart from Zero’. This film will also inspire you greatly.

I feel that celebrities should understand their responsibility. I am a filmmaker, and my effort should be such that my films convey some message to society. Celebrities are followed by people, so they should consider and think before saying or showing anything.

Vikrant Massey played the role of IPS Manoj Sharma in this film

’12th Fail’ was such a huge hit. Whose statement do you remember?

Answer: Not a compliment, but I remember a conversation during the shoot with Vikrant, the vendor. Around 5,000 people were present there during the shooting. I was taking care of them. My shirt collar was raised during the shoot. Seeing me in this look, Vikrant jokingly said, “Looks like today the lion has come out after many years.”

Apart from that, once during the film editing, producer Yogesh Ishwar said to me, “I have never seen such bad editing. Seems like you forgot how to edit.” However, after the film’s release, he was very happy. Now, I laugh thinking about him.

Fans now want some information about your upcoming film, ‘Munna Bhai 3’.

Answer: Sure, ‘Munna Bhai 3’ is in the works. I assure you that this film will be made 100%. Through this film, we will also convey a true message to the people.
