Rohit Godara Gang Implicated in Salman’s Home Firing: CCTV Captures Shooter Kalu

In Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra West, information has emerged regarding the shooters involved in the firing incident that occurred on Sunday morning. Lawrence Gang’s Anmol Bishnoi, Goldie Brar, and Rohit Godara have been held responsible for the firing. The shooter firing outside Salman’s house is identified as Vishal, also known as Kalu, who belongs to Rohit Godara’s gang.

CCTV Footage Shows Intruders

On Sunday, images of two intruders firing outside Salman’s house emerged. The intruders were seen wearing black and white t-shirts, with one wearing a red t-shirt. CCTV footage from February 29, 2024, from a dhaba in Rohtak, Haryana, has also surfaced.

Shooter Kalu Identified from CCTV Footage

A shooter identified from the CCTV footage near Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai shares a resemblance with individuals seen in the CCTV footage. There’s a possibility that Vishal, alias Kalu, could be involved in the firing.

Anmol Bishnoi Takes Responsibility Through Facebook Post

Earlier, gangster Anmol Bishnoi had admitted via a Facebook post that due to an old rivalry, firing occurred at Salman Khan’s house, orchestrated by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Initially, the police didn’t take this Facebook post seriously, but the CCTV footage made the entire incident clear.

Who is Vishal Rahul, alias Kalu?

Kalu, alias Vishal Rahul, is a prominent shooter associated with the gangster Rohit Godara from Rajasthan. Kalu is affiliated with the Lawrence gang, and he was recently involved in the murder of Sachin Goda in Rohtak, for which CCTV footage and his confession were released on social media. Kalu, a resident of Gurugram, has studied up to 10th grade and has been implicated in multiple cases, including firing and bike theft.

Case Transferred to Mumbai Crime Branch

Meanwhile, on Monday, this case was transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch. Ten teams from the Crime Branch are busy investigating the case. The police are examining more than two dozen CCTV footage in this case.

Slow Local Train Caught for Borivali after Gunfire

According to several media reports, as per the police, both shooters caught a slow local train for Borivali after firing outside Salman’s house. The bike used in the shooting was found a kilometer away from Salman’s house near Mount Mary Church. The accused had purchased this bike from a showroom in Raigad a few days before.

Firing Incident in Bandra on Sunday Morning

On Sunday morning around five o’clock, firing occurred in front of Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Four rounds of firing were carried out by assailants on two bikes. Salman was at his home when the incident took place. After the incident, a team comprising Mumbai Police, Crime Branch, and Forensic Experts reached the scene to collect CCTV footage from nearby areas. Bullet marks were also found on the balcony by forensic teams. Police seized one bike belonging to the suspects.

After the incident, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde spoke to Salman Khan over the phone to ensure his security. Security around the actor’s house was increased. Khan had received threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar gang.

Salman Remains Alone on the Ground Floor

Salman has been living with his family in this house for the past 40 years. His house is located on the ground floor of the apartment building. He resides alone in this 1BHK L-shaped apartment. His parents live in the adjacent Galaxy Apartments.

In March 2023, Lawrence Bishnoi Threatened Salman Khan

After receiving threats from Lawrence Bishnoi in March 2023, Salman Khan’s security was beefed up. He was provided with Y+ category security by the Maharashtra government. The NIA stated that Khan is on the hit list of 10 individuals associated with gangs, including Lawrence Bishnoi, who threatened to kill him. Bishnoi’s community is angered by the incident involving the blackbuck hunting in 1998, for which Salman Khan faced legal consequences. Bishnoi had threatened Salman Khan during a TV interview.

Y+ Security and Presence of 11 Personnel After Threats

Following the threats, Salman Khan is now under Y+ security, accompanied by 11 soldiers. Previously, Maharashtra police personnel used to accompany him, but after the threats, he was provided with Y+ security. This security detail includes 11 soldiers who accompany Salman Khan at all times, including one or two commandos and two PSOs. Two vehicles are always present to precede and follow Salman’s car, which is bulletproof.

How Many Times Has Salman Khan Been Threatened Before?

In June 2022, Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, received an anonymous letter threatening both him and Salman. The letter stated, “Salman Khan, your condition will become like that of Musa.” Following this, Salim Khan contacted the police through his security personnel, and a case was registered at the Bandra police station. Last year, Mumbai police intercepted a call threatening to kill Salman Khan from an unidentified person. The person making the threat was a minor, aged 16, who was later identified and publicly announced as Rukaiya Tarique. He claimed to be from Jodhpur and threatened to kill Salman on April 30.

Threats by Fanzingwire and Fake Aadhaar Card

Last year, two unknown individuals attempted to break into Salman Khan’s farmhouse by cutting the fencing wires. Both were apprehended by the police and were found to be avid fans of Salman Khan. Fake Aadhaar cards were found on them. Consequently, FIRs were filed against both. Salman Khan is currently a target on the radar of Lawrence’s gang.
