Cameron Green Tests Positive, Joins West Indies Tour

Recently, all-rounder Cameron Green also tested positive for coronavirus. Following recovery, he joined the West Indies tour in the One-Day International series.

First T20 Match against West Indies on February 9

The first match of the three-match T20 series against West Indies will take place in Hobart on February 9, following the Test and One-Day series. The second match will be held in Adelaide on February 11, and the third match in Perth on February 13. Previously, both Test series ended in a draw, while Australia swept the three-match One-Day series against West Indies.

Marsh to Lead Against New Zealand as Well

Following the T20 series against West Indies, Michael Marsh will lead the team against New Zealand for the T20 series during their tour. The Australian team will play their first T20 match against New Zealand on February 21.

In June, Australia’s team will compete in two series against West Indies and New Zealand ahead of the T20 World Cup. Marsh will exclusively lead the team in these series. In this scenario, only Marsh can manage the team’s command in the World Cup.
