Mercedes-Benz Launches C-Class Sedan and GLC SUV in India: Achieves 0-100 kph in 6 Seconds, Starting at ₹61.85 Lakhs

On June 3, Mercedes-Benz India introduced the 2024 models of the C-Class sedan and the GLC SUV to the Indian market. The updated vehicles come with enhanced features, offering more advanced technology and luxury. 

The new C-Class lineup now includes the top-tier C300 AMG Line, priced at ₹69 lakhs (ex-showroom), replacing the C300d Diesel AMG Line. The GLC SUV 220d 4-Matic Diesel starts at ₹76.9 lakhs. 

Both cars can be booked online or at local Mercedes-Benz India dealerships. The C-Class competes with the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series, while the GLC rivals the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Volvo XC60.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class showcases distinctive AMG styling elements both in its exterior and interior. The car is introduced with two new color options: Sodalite Blue and Patagonia Red Bright, with Sodalite Blue replacing the previous Cavansite Blue shade. 

Compared to the C200 and C200d models, the new variants feature star-patterned inserts on the front grille and come equipped with 18-inch AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels, enhancing its sporty and luxurious appeal.

Inside the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, the dashboard layout remains familiar. The C300 variant offers luxurious amenities such as ventilated and heated front seats, a 710-watt 15-speaker Burmester sound system, and a 360-degree camera. 

Additional features include six USB ports with 100W fast charging. The C-Class also boasts an 11.9-inch portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, and adaptive high-beam assist, ensuring both comfort and advanced technology for an enhanced driving experience.

The exterior design of the Mercedes-Benz GLC remains unchanged. However, the new model now includes ventilated and heated seats, and additional rear-side airbags, increasing the total to nine airbags. 

Inside, the GLC features an 11.9-inch portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a panoramic sunroof, heated and electrically adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, and 64-color ambient lighting, enhancing both safety and luxury.
