MLA Chaitar Vasava Appears in Court, Lawyer Gopal Italia Challenges Case, 3-Day Remand Granted

AAP leader and Narmada district’s common man party representative, Chaitar Vasava, who had been absconding after being accused of assaulting forest workers and firing shots in the air, surrendered before the police after 40 days. He appeared before the Dediyapada Court today at 11 am, where the court approved a 3-day remand for further investigation. In his defense, Gopal Italia, the National General Secretary of AAP, presented arguments in favor of Chaitar Vasava’s surrender before the Dediyapada Court. The police had requested a 14-day remand for investigation, but the court approved a 3-day remand.
