Massive Fire in Ahmedabad: 35 Vehicles Burnt Under Odhav Bridge
Ahmedabad: In a shocking incident early this morning, a massive fire broke out under the Odhav Bridge on the city’s Ring Road, engulfing 35 vehicles in flames. Among the burnt vehicles, 22 were detained by the traffic police, while 11 two-wheelers were parked by private owners.
The fire was reported to the fire brigade at around 7 AM. Two fire trucks from the Odhav Fire Station were immediately dispatched to the scene and managed to control the blaze. Police officials also arrived at the location to assess the situation. The incident resulted in the complete destruction of 33 two-wheelers and 2 four-wheelers.

Who Will Bear the Loss?
With the detained vehicles burned to ashes, a major question arises: who will compensate the vehicle owners for their loss? Since these vehicles were seized by the police, it is now their responsibility to address the damages.
Investigation Underway
According to Vishnubhai, the Station Officer of Odhav Fire Station, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Preliminary reports suggest that the fire might have been triggered by garbage accumulation near the vehicles. Authorities are conducting further investigations.

All Burnt Vehicles Declared ‘Unclaimed’
Traffic DCP Safin Hasan stated that all the vehicles destroyed in the fire were considered ‘unclaimed’ as they were seized by the city’s traffic police. The reason behind the fire is still unclear, but officials are closely examining the case.

Another Fire Incident in the City
In a separate incident, a fire broke out late at night in a scrap shop under the Kanchan Bhumi Apartment in Anandnagar. Firefighters from the Prahladnagar Fire Station rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
Authorities are investigating both fire incidents to determine the causes and prevent such mishaps in the future.
