Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan paid a visit to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on Wednesday and offered his respects. A post on the Kerala Raj Bhavan’s official Twitter handle stated that the Governor visited the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and sought the blessings of Lord Ram. 

Speaking to journalists, the Governor said, “I had visited Ayodhya twice in January. The feelings I had then are the same today. I have visited Ayodhya many times. It’s not just a matter of happiness for us, but also a matter of pride that we have performed puja in Ayodhya.”

A video, shared on the official social media handle of Kerala’s Governor, depicts Arif Khan bowing before the idol of Ramlalla. In the footage, resonating chants of “Jai Shri Ram” accompany Governor Arif Khan’s reverent gesture before the sacred idol. 

Governor Arif Mohammad Khan embarked on a pilgrimage to Ayodhya on Wednesday to seek the blessings of Lord Ramlalla. He was warmly welcomed by officials at the Maharshi Valmiki Airport.

Living in close proximity to Ayodhya, I had the privilege of witnessing Governor Arif Khan’s recent visit to the city. Expressing his sentiments, he emphasized his frequent visits to Ayodhya, not just as a source of personal joy but also of immense pride. 

He recalled his previous visit on January 22nd and noted how he returned today, specifically to seek the blessings of Lord Ramlalla. Hailing from the neighboring district of Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh, Ayodhya’s significance remains deeply intertwined with Governor Arif Mohammad Khan’s personal journey.

Second Encounter with Ayodhya: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan’s Return Visit

Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan revisited Ayodhya on Wednesday, marking his second trip to the historic city. Upon his arrival, he first landed at Ayodhya Airport and then proceeded to the Ram Mandir to pay homage to Lord Ramlalla. 

As he stood before the sanctum sanctorum, Governor Arif Mohammad Khan was visibly moved, bowing his head and seeking blessings with folded hands.

Champat Rai Presents “Shri Ramcharit Manas”

During this time, Champat Rai, the general secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, presented him with a copy of “Shri Ramcharit Manas.” 

Governor Arif Mohammad Khan mentioned that he has visited Ayodhya twice since January, the time of the groundbreaking ceremony, and his sentiment remains the same today.
