This announcement is pertinent for all stakeholders including school principals, teachers, administrative staff, parents, and all Class 10 candidates. It is essential that everyone concerned takes note of this information and ensures that students obtain their hall tickets in due time for the upcoming examinations.

The March 2024 public examinations are scheduled to commence from the 11th of March 2024. Students’ hall tickets can be downloaded from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board’s official websites: ssc.gsebht.in, gsebht.in, or gseb.org, starting from the 29th of February 2024. To access the hall tickets, students need to log in using the school’s index number and the registered mobile number or email ID provided by the school. Following login, students can proceed to download their hall tickets for the upcoming examinations.

Post-Hall Ticket Download Instructions

After downloading the hall ticket, the following steps need to be undertaken:

Students must print the hall ticket (admit card) for the March 2024 examinations as per the subjects/medium specified in the application form. They must ensure the following details are correctly verified and filled in at the designated spaces on the hall ticket: the student’s photograph, signature, class teacher’s signature, and the principal’s signature-stamp (partially on the photograph and partially on the photo). Along with this, students must print the instructions for Class 10 examinations (No. 1 to 13) on the backside of the hall ticket and duly sign and stamp it along with the class teacher’s signature for examination purposes.

If any discrepancies are noticed regarding the online distribution list accompanying the hall ticket, or if there is a need for corrections in the information provided, necessary steps will be taken to rectify them.

For the assessment tasks related to the March 2024 examinations, the Assessment Orders for middlemen are being distributed online along with the hall tickets. These orders will be available for online download by the respective schools. It is mandatory for the appointed teachers to fill in the necessary details on the Assessment Order and adhere to the provided instructions. 

The distribution list for the Assessment Orders will be available for download, and upon receiving the Assessment Orders, teachers must ensure the accuracy of the information and maintain records in the school. A copy of the Assessment Order (school copy) must also be retained in the school’s records.

Board Examination Action Plan Unveiled

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has announced the action plan for the board examinations, which will commence from March 11. More than 15 lakh students from grades 10 and 12 will appear for the exams across 1634 centers in the state. 

Last year, around 16.49 lakh students appeared for the exams, whereas this year, a total of 9,17,687 students have enrolled for grade 10, including 1,65,846 repeater students. In grade 12 Science stream, there are 1,11,549 students enrolled, including 20,438 repeater students. Additionally, in grade 12 General stream, 4,89,279 students are enrolled, out of which 74,547 are repeater students.

The Class 10 examinations will be conducted across 981 centers in 84 zones from March 11 to March 21. The exam timings will be from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM. On the other hand, the Class 12 exams will take place from March 26, with the timing set from 3:00 PM to 6:15 PM.

For the Class 10 exams, there are 981 centers in 84 zones, while for the Class 12 General stream exams, there will be 506 centers, and for the Science stream, there will be 147 centers. The board has also announced guidelines for administrators to ensure the smooth conduct of exams without any irregularities.

Over 1.60 Lakh Students Registered in Ahmedabad

In Ahmedabad city and rural areas combined, a total of 1,04,666 students for Class 10 and 15,908 students for Class 12 Science stream (regular and repeaters) are registered to appear for the exams. Additionally, 58,584 students have enrolled for the Class 12 General stream examinations. Detailed statistics regarding various categories of students are available on the board’s official website.
