According to sources familiar with the matter, a high-ranking committee has indicated that the potential candidates for Ahmedabad East constituency have been engaging in campaign activities by making phone calls.
Meanwhile, the Congress party might announce its second list for other constituencies in Gujarat today. Earlier, the Congress had unveiled candidates’ names during meetings held in Gujarat. However, Rohan Gupta, a potential candidate for the Ahmedabad East constituency, has declined to contest in the elections.
Electoral Battle Between I.N.D.I.A. Alliance and BJP in Gujarat
A electoral showdown is brewing between the I.N.D.I.A. alliance and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Lok Sabha elections in Gujarat. Negotiations between the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have resulted in the allocation of constituencies, with Congress contesting 24 seats across Gujarat and AAP competing on two seats in Bharuch and Bhavnagar.
