Gujarat’s First Gold ATM Opens in Surat: 24×7 Access to Gold and Silver Purchases
Surat has made history by launching Gujarat’s first-ever Gold ATM, allowing citizens to buy gold and silver coins 24×7 — just like withdrawing cash from a bank ATM. Installed in collaboration with Goldsikka Pvt Ltd and local jeweller D. Khushaldas Jewellers, this innovative machine enables secure purchases of gold and silver coins ranging from 1 gram to 20 grams anytime, day or night.
Buy Gold Anytime, Even After Jewelry Shops Close
Traditionally, buying gold or silver was possible only during jewelry shop hours. Now, customers can easily purchase gold or silver coins at any time using ATM cards, credit/debit cards, or UPI. Whether it’s a festival like Akshaya Tritiya or an auspicious event like Guru Pushya Nakshatra, buying gold has never been easier.

600-kg Heavy Machine with Strong Security Features
The ATM machine, weighing around 600 kilograms, is equipped with multiple security cameras and advanced tamper-proof technology. It is directly synced with international gold prices, ensuring live updates on the screen whenever global rates fluctuate.
A Dream Fulfilled: Easy Access to Gold for Everyone
Dipak Chokshi, owner of D. Khushaldas Jewellers, shared that setting up a Gold ATM was a dream project to make buying gold and silver easier for people at all hours, especially when jewelry stores are closed. It’s designed to meet the needs of the younger, digitally savvy generation.

Future Plans: Airports and Temples to Get Gold ATMs
According to Goldsikka’s Chief Governance Officer, the success in Surat is just the beginning. Plans are underway to install Gold ATMs at major airports, including those operated by Adani Group, and in prominent temples like Tirupati Balaji. This will make gold purchasing more accessible for travelers and pilgrims across India.
Digital Gold Buying Made Simpler
Along with physical ATMs, a Digital Gold App by D. Khushaldas Jewellers is being launched. Through the app, users can buy gold starting from as low as ₹100 daily. Once sufficient gold accumulates in their wallet, customers can either order delivery of physical gold or continue holding it digitally, with full transparency and secure storage.
