Woman Protested Against Land Acquisition

On March 14, in Vadodara city’s Koyali area, the IOCL company was carrying out land acquisition work. During this process, local residents opposed the acquisition, leading to the gathering of police reinforcements. At this point, a woman got extremely agitated and jumped into a well that was more than 20 feet deep. Seeing this, a police constable also jumped into the well to rescue her. After a severe struggle, the woman was rescued from the well. During this time, Constable Kalpanaben Lakhhabhai and Soniyaben Pradipbhai, along with PSI Chavda, helped in the rescue operation.

“The Policeman Showed Courage”: ACP

It was further mentioned that Constable Rajeshbhai Hajabhai Solanki of Javaharnagar Police Station performed a courageous act. I express my gratitude to my superiors for this.
