Attendance Ensures Eligibility for Gold Medals at Convocation Ceremony

This morning at 9 o’clock, behind the University Head Office, Kamla Raman Vatika, the convocation ceremony is underway at the Maharaja Sayajirao University’s convocation ground. Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vijaykumar Shrivastav proposed that departments or courses where not a single gold medal recipient emerged should be eligible for university-awarded gold medals.

This proposal has been approved by the EC members. Consequently, this year, more than 25 additional gold medals will be awarded to deserving students, bringing the total count of gold medals to 345. Thus, students who attend this ceremony will be assured of receiving their gold medals.
