They will have a meeting, followed by the photo session. After the photo session, all the captains will disperse.

It was expected to feature artists like Shankar Mahadevan and Shreya Ghoshal, along with laser shows and fireworks. However, it has now been officially confirmed that there won’t be any kind of opening ceremony. Only a photo shoot with the World Cup trophy is scheduled for October 4th, and the match between England and New Zealand will be held on October 5th.
