Launch of Citroen C3 and eC3 Blue Edition: C3 Hatchback Reduced by ₹17,000 and C3 Aircross by ₹1 Lakh

In April 2021, the French automaker Citroen marked its entry into the Indian market with the C5 Aircross SUV. On its anniversary, April 5, the company has launched the new Blue Editions of the C3 and eC3 models. Alongside this release, Citroen is rolling out several special offers for customers. 

One notable offering is the provision of free car washing services for current Citroen owners. Additionally, the company has introduced a referral program where Citroen customers can earn a referral bonus of ₹10,000.

Moreover, Citroen is expanding its sales and service network across India. The company aims to establish 200 sales and service touchpoints by the end of this year. Currently, four Citroen models are available for sale in India, including the C3, C3 Aircross, eC3 (electric), and C5 Aircross. 

This expansion and the introduction of new models signify Citroen’s commitment to strengthening its presence and catering to the diverse needs of Indian consumers.

Citroen Celebrates Anniversary with Price Reductions on C3 Hatchback and C3 Aircross Compact SUV

On its anniversary day, Citroen has announced price reductions for the entry-level variants of the C3 hatchback and C3 Aircross compact SUV. The Citroen C3 hatchback sees a decrease of ₹17,000, bringing its starting price down from ₹6.16 lakh to ₹5.99 lakh.

Similarly, the Citroen C3 Aircross compact SUV now comes with a ₹1 lakh price cut, making it available for purchase at a starting price of ₹8.99 lakh. These new prices will be effective starting April 30th. With these reductions, Citroen aims to make its vehicles more accessible to a wider range of customers and further strengthen its position in the Indian market.

New Features in Limited Edition C3 and eC3

The limited edition models of the C3 and eC3 cars bring refreshing updates based on the Feel and Shine variants. These editions feature a new Cosmo Blue color scheme along with body line and roof graphics.

Inside, these limited edition models offer air purifier, customized seat covers, sill plates, neck rest, and seat belt cushions. The Citroen e-C3 starts at Rs. 12.69 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).

Performance of Citroen eC3

The Citroen eC3 electric car comes equipped with a 29.2 kWh non-removable battery pack and the company claims it provides a range of 320 kilometers on a single charge. It stands as the first car in this segment to offer 100% DC charging. 

This car is poised to rival competitors like the Tata Tiago EV and Tata Punch EV in the market.
