Honda Cars India has launched the highly-anticipated Elevate SUV in India, priced at Rs 10.99 lakh, ex- showroom. With the Elevate, the Japanese manufacturer has finally forayed into the rapidly growing mid-size SUV segment.
Under the hood, the Elevate gets the 1.5-litre I-VTEC petrol engine sourced from the City sedan. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT and belts out 121 hp and 145 Nm of peak torque.
Talking about the design, this car boasts a masculine exterior design, characterized by a striking front fascia, featuring a large grille, sleek LED headlamps with chrome lining joining the two. Overall, the Elevate sports a boxy design and rides on 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels that take their design cues from the 17-inch units available with the facelifted City.
Inside, it gets a new floating type 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster. It also gets a single-pane sunroof, thus, ticking the growing demand of the feature among the buyers.
In terms of safety, Honda is also offering its Honda Sensing ADAS suite with features such as Lane Watch Camera, Vehicle Stability Assi with Electronic stability & Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, Emergency Stop Signal, rear parking sensors, and more.
The Honda Elevate is available in a range of colours,including Phoenix Orange Pearl, Obsidian Blue Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brow Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic.
