Ampere Nexus Electric Scooter Launched at ₹1.09 Lakh: Hill Hold Assist and More!
Grives Electric Mobility Private Limited has launched the two-wheeler brand Ampere Electric Scooter, Ampere Nexus. The Ampere Nexus has been launched in two variants. The company has set the initial price of the base variant at Rs. 1.09 lakh and the top-spec ST variant at Rs. 1.19 lakh.
Both prices are ex-showroom. After the initial offer is completed, there will be a price increase of Rs. 10,000 in the scooter’s prices. The Ampere Nexus electric scooter has been completely designed, developed, and manufactured in India. It comes with four color options – Azure Aqua, Indian Red, Lunar White, and Steel Grey.
Claim of 136 Kilometer Range
Nexus comes with a 3 kWh IP67 rated LFP battery and a motor with 4 kW peak power. The company claims that the Ampere Nexus provides a range of 136 kilometers on a full charge. With fast charging, the scooter can be charged in 3 hours and 22 minutes.
It features five different riding modes. In ‘Power’ mode, the scooter can reach a top speed of 93 kmph. At the same time, the scooter can run at a top speed of 63 kilometers in city mode and 42 kilometers in Eco mode. Besides these three modes, there is also a limp home mode, which kicks in when the battery goes below 20%. Additionally, it comes with a reverse mode.
Ampere Nexus: Breaking and Ground Clearance
The Ampere Nexus electric scooter features a new and underbone chassis, equipped with telescopic forks and twin shock absorber suspension. It has 12-inch alloy wheels and comes with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear for braking. It also has a ground clearance of 170mm.

In addition to LED lighting, the Ampere Nexus comes with hill hold assist, side stand alert, navigation, customizable ride modes, and other features. At the same time, the new electric scooter features a 7-inch digital console, equipped with features such as speed tracking, distance cover, charging level, Bluetooth connectivity, and network connectivity.
It also features a call alert feature. The company says that this scooter sets new standards for comfort, style, performance, intelligence, and safety.
