President Draupadi Murmu Launches Gujarat e-Vidhansabha for Enhanced Legislative Transparency

Now, the Gujarat State Assembly has gone paperless. Gujarat has become the first state in India to launch an E-Assembly, fulfilling the dream of PM Modi’s ‘One Nation, One Application.’ The launch of the E-Assembly was inaugurated by President Draupadi Murmu. Following this, the President also addressed the members. The inauguration began with a speech by poet Umashankar Joshi.

Gujarat’s transition to a paperless assembly is a significant milestone in making the state’s legislative process more digital and efficient. President Draupadi Murmu also extended her best wishes on the completion of two years of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s tenure. She expressed her joy in visiting the sacred land of Gujarat.

Gujarat Legislative Assembly Discusses Important Bills

In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, there was a discussion on the passage of important bills. During this session, Members of Parliament from Gujarat, industrialists, representatives from the Gujarat BJP, and members of various associations were present. Educators, social leaders, and economists from the state also attended.

Gandhinagar: India now has its first e-Legislative Assembly. The Gujarat e-Legislative Assembly (E Assembly) was inaugurated by President Draupadi Murmu. This means that the Gujarat Legislative Assembly has gone digital. The Gujarat Legislative Assembly will now become paperless. In this program, various achievements of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly were highlighted. It was mentioned that Gujarat has always looked towards the future of India and the future of Gujarat along with it. The Gujarat Legislative Assembly has witnessed many ups and downs. It was mentioned that the Gujarat Legislative Assembly has accomplished many commendable tasks. It was stated that through the application, the work of the State Legislative Assembly can be observed transparently. E-Legislative Assembly will bring transparency to the functioning of the legislature.
