Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang Announces Reinstatement of Old Pension Scheme on September 11. The committee has submitted its report to the government, and the ‘One Family, One Job’ initiative will be regularized soon.

During the foundation stone laying ceremony of the World Renewal Spiritual Trust in Debrung, Namchi, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang made several other announcements, which include:

  1. Debrung Road Revamp and Improved Drainage Systems
    Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang’s significant announcement includes the development of Debrung Road. This project encompasses comprehensive road enhancements and the installation of more efficient drainage systems.
  2. Rs 5 Lakh Medical Assistance Advance for C&D Grade Employees
    Addressing the concerns of C&D grade employees, CM Tamang introduced a substantial financial aid package. C&D grade employees are now eligible to receive a generous Rs 5 lakh advance for medical assistance.
  3. Restoration of the Old Pension Scheme
    Recognizing the importance of financial security for retirees, the Chief Minister has reinstated the old pension scheme.
  4. Shrawan Kumar Award for Recognizing Selfless Dedication
    Under CM Tamang’s leadership, the State Government has introduced the Shrawan Kumar Award. This prestigious honor will be presented annually on Independence Day, August 15th, to the sons and daughters of every Gram Panchayat and Nagar Panchayat who demonstrate selfless dedication to their parents.
