In Surat, criminals have become emboldened, as evidenced by two videos released within 12 hours. In the city’s Pandesara and Limbayat areas, offenders are attacking people with knives, showing blatant disregard for law and order.
The suspects are brandishing weapons and then carrying out the assaults, all of which have been captured on video. Following the viral spread of these videos, the Limbayat and Pandesara police have filed cases and initiated action.
Knife Attack Incident in Pandesara Goes Viral
In a video from the Pandesara area, a person is clearly seen attacking another individual with a knife, using the weapon to carry out the assault. The footage, recorded on a mobile phone by a bystander, has gone viral.
As soon as the police were alerted to the incident, an investigation was promptly launched. During the investigation, some shocking details have also emerged.
Attempted Mobile Theft Ends in Violent Attack
During a police investigation, it was revealed that two brothers, Kundan and Ranjan, were heading to the railway station when two individuals on a bike without a number plate approached them and attempted to steal Kundan’s mobile phone.
One of the attackers approached Kundan and tried to snatch his phone, but when Kundan resisted, the assailants attacked him with a knife on his left shoulder. Ranjan, Kundan’s brother, intervened to help but was also assaulted by the attackers.
Kundan was stabbed eight times with the knife in an attempt to force him to surrender the phone. Following the assault, the assailants fled the scene on a motorcycle. Both 26-year-old Ranjan and 17-year-old Kundan sustained injuries. The police are actively searching for the perpetrators.
Limbayat Area Sees Another Incident of Armed Violence
A similar case has been reported at the Limbayat police station. In this instance, the suspect is seen roaming boldly in broad daylight, wielding a knife in the Pandesara area. The video clearly shows how an individual, armed with a knife, is attacking and threatening another person.
This incident took place in the Krishna Nagar area of Limbayat, and the video has gone viral on social media.
Knife Attack in Limbayat: Old Grudge Behind the Assault
According to information from the Limbayat police, two individuals jointly assaulted a young man with a knife. During the attack, the victim’s mother intervened to protect him, and his brother also rushed to his aid.
The attackers threatened the victim by brandishing a knife, prompting the victim’s mother to file a complaint with the Limbayat police station. The police suggest that the assault was driven by a previous grudge.
