Uttarakhand Bus Tragedy: 6 Dead, 27 Rescued in Gangotri Mishap

A bus fell into a ravine near Ganga on Uttarakhand’s Gangotri National Highway on Sunday evening. 6 people died in this accident. 27 people have been rescued and shifted to hospital. A passenger is missing. There were 31 passengers from Bhavnagar on board the bus.

Uttarkashi DM and SP informed that bus number UK07PA-8585 fell into a 100 meter deep ravine. Rescue operation is going on now.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed grief over the tragedy by tweeting. He wrote – There have been reports of some people losing their lives and some injured in the accident. Rescue operation is on. May God rest the souls of those who lost their lives in the accident. I wish all the injured a speedy recovery.
