Tragically, his life was abruptly cut short when an unidentified vehicle collided with him along the Pipaliya-Mustupura canal road, resulting in his untimely demise. Mehul Tersingbhai Rawat, a 22-year-old resident of Jetpur (Du) Vankali Paliya in Limkheda, Dahod district, was employed as a bricklayer. Mr. Rawat had been diligently carrying out his duties at a recently established construction site in proximity to Pipaliya village within the Waghodia taluka for a period spanning two months.

Tragic On-Site Fatality

Following the completion of his labor-intensive work late in the evening, Mehul embarked on a trip to the Pippliya village market to procure essential groceries and vegetables. Regrettably, while traversing the canal road leading from Pipaliya village in Waghodia to Mastupura village, an unforeseen collision occurred. An unidentified vehicle, operating at a considerable speed, collided with Mehul’s motorcycle, resulting in a catastrophic impact. The collision inflicted severe injuries, particularly to his head and other vital body parts, leading to an excruciating loss of life on the spot.

Upon receiving news of the incident, which underwent a thorough investigation by the Waghodia police, the family was immediately informed. In response, the bereaved family swiftly made their way to the accident scene, accompanied by the prompt arrival of the Waghodia police. Overwhelmed by grief, the family members were in a state of profound sorrow.

The Waghodia police authorities took charge of the situation, securing the deceased’s body and initiating requisite legal proceedings.
