Fire Breaks Out at Vadodara Oil Agency, Fire Department Delayed by Traffic, Shop’s Wooden Brackets Burned

A fire broke out at the petrol pump in front of the Baroda agency in Chunara Vas, Vadodara, according to available details. This incident occurred at around 8:00 AM in the morning. Upon noticing the fire, locals immediately informed the Vadodara Fire Department, and their team promptly arrived at the scene to control the fire and make efforts to extinguish it. Fortunately, there were no significant casualties in this incident. However, wooden brackets and other items in the shop were damaged, while the oil containers remained unharmed, as it has been recently discovered.

Two fire teams arrived and managed to gain control over the fire.

Ravindra Kadam, a soldier from the Vadodara Fire Department, informed that a message about the fire at the petrol pump in front of Baranpura was received by the fire department. Immediately, a team from Dandiya Bazar Fire was dispatched to the scene. The fire broke out at the Baroda agency, owned by Baluprasad Thakkar. The primary cause of this fire in their shop was a short circuit. In this incident, wooden brackets and other items were damaged, but the oil containers were saved.

The fire was brought under control with the assistance of 10 firefighters.

It was further mentioned that in this incident, teams from the Dandiya Bazar and Gajarawadi Fire Departments immediately arrived. Two fire engines and a water tanker were used to bring the fire under control. After extensive efforts, the fire was successfully extinguished with the help of 10 firefighters. The fire department received immediate support, but due to traffic congestion in parts of Vadodara city, the team from the fire department reached the scene a little later. Fortunately, there were no significant casualties in this incident.
