Bookings for the E-Luna commenced on January 26, 2024, with a booking token amount of 500 rupees. Its initial price starts at Rs. 69,990 (ex-showroom).

Speaking at the E-Luna launching event, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari shared, “I have also used Luna during my college days. At that time, Luna ran on petrol, costing 40 rupees per liter, leading to an average expenditure of 30 to 40 paisa per kilometer.”

The E-Luna, priced at 10 paisa per kilometer, offers affordable commuting solutions, especially for economically weaker sections and individuals with monthly incomes ranging from 20,000 to 25,000 rupees. It is expected to perform well in the two-wheeler market.

Available in five colors – Malberry Red, Ocean Blue, Pearl Yellow, Sparkling Green, and Night Star Black – the E-Luna comes equipped with a 2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, promising a range of up to 110 kilometers on a single charge while boasting a top speed of 50 kilometers per hour. The company provides a 5-year warranty on this electric moped.

The company also offers a portable charger with the vehicle. The E-Luna can be fully charged in 4 hours and features a USB charging port. For safety, it is equipped with combi drum brakes on both wheels. The total weight of the E-Luna is 96 kilograms, with dimensions of 1.985 meters in length, 0.735 meters in width, 1.036 meters in height, and a wheelbase of 1335 millimeters. The seat height is 760 mm, and its ground clearance is 170 mm.
