Okaya EV’s Disptor to Offer 1km Range at 25 Paisa: Launching Thursday with 129km Full Charge Range

Electric vehicle manufacturing company Okaya EV is gearing up to launch its new electric bike, Disruptor 2, in May. The company has collaborated with the luxurious brand Ferrato to create it. Okaya claims that the electric bike will run 1 kilometer for 25 paise and will have a range of 129 kilometers on a full charge.

Okaya will sell the e-bike through premium dealerships. For this, the company is planning to open more than 100 showrooms. The company has started pre-booking for the upcoming bike. The first 1000 customers can book it by paying a token amount of 500 rupees on Ferrato’s official website. After that, a booking fee of 2,500 rupees will be applicable.

The bike will be equipped with ABS and disk brakes on both wheels. However, detailed information about the design and features of Okaya’s upcoming electric bike Disruptor has not been revealed yet. The company had previously released silhouette images of the bike.

The bike appears muscular, featuring traditional telescopic forks in the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear for suspension in the e-bike.

It will also have disk brakes with ABS on both wheels for braking. Additionally, the bike will feature tubeless tires, split-seat setup, and attractive LED lights on both ends.

The E-bike will Achieve a Speed of 95 km/h

For performance, the e-bike will come with a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), which generates a peak power of 6.37 kW and a maximum torque of 228 Nm. The company claims that the Disruptor can reach a top speed of 95 km/h.

To power the electric motor, it will be equipped with a 3.97 kWh battery pack with LFP technology. It may also offer riding modes, and its price will be more than 1.5 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
